The fall weather is great, but community need is greater. Gather your team and get out of the office this Friday and make a difference through United Way Days of Caring, Central Florida’s largest community-wide volunteer event.
It’s not too late to participate — volunteers are still needed for these great projects:
- Home improvement updates for an elderly, disabled Pine Hills resident – includes painting, landscaping, debris removal and other minor exterior repairs (supplies and supervision provided)
- Game Day for children attending the Boys & Girls Club branch in Sanford
- Debris removal and landscaping work for Help Now of Osceola (bring your own yard tools)
- Food and toiletry supply drive benefitting The Salvation Army and RSVP (easy to do without leaving your workplace)
If you haven’t previously participated, you’re in for an amazing time — and you’ll be in great company. Each year, nearly 1,600 volunteers from Lockheed Martin, Disney, Publix, UPS, AT&T and other leading companies take part.
