Calling All Volunteers! Want to make a difference in your community? Interested in a great volunteer opportunity for your office or organization?
Then mark your calendar for Central Florida’s largest community-wide volunteer event – United Way Days of Caring on Friday, September 27!
Last year, more than 2,000 volunteers from our region’s leading companies and organizations took part in this team-building event that also provides a great opportunity to LIVE UNITED and give back to the community.
This year, Heart of Florida United Way will work on community impact projects related to our four strategic focus areas:
- Developing Healthy Children & Families
- Building Safe Communities through Education
- Improving Financial Stability
- Alleviating Hunger & Homelessness
Each project will provide much-needed assistance to our community and United Way partner agencies, while giving companies a great way to give back, build teamwork and LIVE UNITED.
Lots of great projects are being planned! All projects will be available on Monday, August 19 – click here [http://www.hfuw.org/Days_of_Caring.php] for more information!
If your company or organization has any special requests for a project, or if you would like more information about volunteering for Days of Caring 2013, please contact Jessica Schwendeman, Manager of Community Participation, at (407) 429-2136 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
